Chaos erupted during a community parade after a frustrated driver allegedly attempted to force her way through blocked streets filled with pedestrians and performers.
According to witnesses, officers and event staff had closed multiple roads for the parade and were directing traffic away from the area when the woman reportedly became angry over the delays. Bystanders claimed she repeatedly argued with officials and insisted she should be allowed through despite the active event.
Police say the driver ignored several warnings and slowly advanced her vehicle toward the barricaded route, causing parade organizers and spectators to move out of the way.
Body camera footage reportedly captured the tense confrontation as officers ordered the woman to stop and step out of the vehicle. Witnesses described the scene as shocking, especially with families and children gathered nearby watching the parade.
Authorities eventually detained the driver, who could face charges related to reckless driving, disorderly conduct, or failing to obey police instructions.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the parade resumed shortly after the incident was brought under control.
